My gosh. What a great lawyer you'll make. You already know how to research. Just come on Yahoo Answers.

You are correct, California is one of the few states that do not require a law degree to sit for the bar exam.

I would start with finding a Bar Review course. BarBri is one company. They usually run a six - eight week course twice a year that covers the Multi-State Bar Exam and the California specifics. You will also have to take the Professional Responsibility exam, there are study guides available for that.

Good Luck!

CA.This info is incomplete or wrong, there are courses on line and there are pre-exam coaching classes, but you need to be in CA.

Write to CA bar association. Go to their site, they will put you in touch with some one.

CA has very few reciprocity's of the kind you are stating.

Such info should be from the bar association itself and in their by laws, then also there may be some last minute disclaimer, objection or changes. Contact CA State Board of licensing and registration.

Go to the source of your info first, if on line the ending should be .gov(for government agency) or .org( for not for profit organisation), if it is .com it is from profit making entity.
