So, I won't smoke. Not that big of deal.

For the bigger picture though, my family figured out I was pregnant the last time I was there because I was so sick and tired. They knew then that I wasn't married. I'm more worried about how to respond, when and if the subject arises. I would avoid the subject all together otherwise. I am not emarrassed about the situation, I just don't want problems.

I am not quite sure what the question is this time , I am guessing you are looking for a way to deal with them.
Well,if I got it right , they know that you have a kid , and they know that you are not married. I don't think that there is something they can do or that there are any suprises in the situation.
What I think they are going to do is that they are going to talk to you about the importance of marriage and so. Even more they may pick you someone to marry. Try to be all nice and tolerant about and don't worry.
We, Egyptians , are nice and emotional by nature. Just have fun and tolerate .
By the way , if it helps, I , as an Egyptian, don't agree of this situation but I understand. There is a difference between approval and understanding.

aww well.. I dunno if I get the picture quite right but it still depends on your own family, what they think of that and how they responded so far since they did notice you are pregnant
-( I hope I understood everything in the right way)..
Generally though, in Egypt most would resent that, I think.
It's not normal here anyway and there's also the 'tradition' and 'religion' factors so it SO depends on everything, so just avoid the subject alltogether.. I think that would be best.

=)

No one can tell you how to respond to a family problem. Those will come from your family, and we do not know how they will react.
