Both are true and being proved in America. It appears democracy still reigns. The Bush administration and Congress have failed America miserably. I don't care whose standards you measure by unless you are an extremist. Of course the republican party is going to fight Bill Clinton, he was a formidable, powerful target with charisma. He got a bj in the White House. Stop the world, I want to get off. He got caught, he lied, he was crucified. Get over it already. He was a lousy president when it came to his free trade policies. Our debt to foreign countries is staggering and a good bit was his doing. Other than that, my opinion, good leader. Mr. Bush has been compounding the free trade problem and is even looking into a "no borders" North America. He will help to turn The United States of America, Mexico, and Canada into one country. Our sovereignty is gone, poof. One stroke of the pen. His fiscal responsibility? Does this really need any comment? Habeous Corpus, gone. Spying on the ordinary American, legal. A liberation we don't know how to get out of for fear of losing face at home and abroad. Our Vice-President and Secretary of Defense, arrogant and hostile with anyone who does not agree with their visions of a Great America.
Yes, we have a failed Federal Government in the Bush administration. Each and every one of us can thank their God, that Democracy still exists in America. Thank you for voting America. My one regret is I doubt I'll live long enough to see what History has to say about both men.

I think the quote was "Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all the others." Yes, Bush proves the Democracy part, the other bad governments (Hitler, Stalin, Kim Jong IL, Saddam) prove thier part of the saying.

We truthfully mentioned this in my American Government elegance at present. Our executive is in over 9 trillion (that is proper, TRILLION) greenbacks in debt. So certainly you are not able to say that our executive in 100 percentage triumphant. Not all of our presidents and legislature is best both. They are not able to all please every body or come to a good contract on disorders within the nation. An instance of that is George W. Bush, who of path is our Republican president and our Congress, who're actually made of Democrats. Because of the clash in those 2 branches of presidency, Congress would possibly try to cross a invoice that's Democratic in nature however due to the fact the president is a Republican, he vetoes the invoice and vice versia. The President will arise with a invoice and check out and cross it, nevertheless Congress rejects it at the phrases of it being too conservative. However, even though it's not the top of the arena, matters simply appear to be getting worse. Gas charges are greater... the warfare in Iraq is getting extra brutal and tricky. But a few of these matters are out of the federal government's fingers, it it only a mirrored image of the way the arena is exchanging. I'm now not announcing the federal government is doing all that they are able to to make this nation larger, however a few matters are with no trouble out in their manipulate.

Democracy is the best government, that is going to fail, if we as citizens do not stop this constant electing representatives to our government that want to create socialism, rather than following the principles set up by our fore fathers when they wrote the constitution.
There is a growing push to socialize everything from health care to retirement plans (retirement plans have already been socialized to some degree thanks to social security). Socialism and democracy can not and will not be able to survive with socialism mixed in to it. Socialism by its own definition, is the intermediate step from democracy to communism in marxist theory.
