yes, wire them in series. That means that means you connect the positive post of battery A to the negative post of battery B and then take your readind or connect your circuit to the negative post of battery A and the positive post of battery B.

take a jumper wire (2ga. wireing) and run it from a positive (of battery "a")and connect it to the negative (on battery "b") and you will be left with the positive from one battery and negative off the other battery and that's what you connect whatever to your needing 24V for

Take positive from 1st battery to negative of 2nd battery, then take positive of 1st battery and negative of 2nd battery for outputs.

Battery one: positive lead to + on battery one, negative to positive on battery two.

Battery two: negative lead to ground.
