James Joyce. And to answer the questions from other answerers (not a word, but I like it.) I have read Finnegan's Wake. It's not that difficult to understand if you follow Joyce's stream of consciousness style. I had to read it twice before I began to understand everything- but everytime I read it, I glean more and more from it. I think it's a beautiful novel. And, I know at least 17 other people who have read it and enjoy it as well.

James Joyce wrote it. I tried to read Joyce and found it extrememly difficult. However I had some success when I read Dubliners and Portrait of the Artist before going back to Ulysses and Finnegan's Wake.
The best of luck to anybody taking on Ulysses. I've done so but had to takes breaks of some three months at a time. It took me years to finish it.
Where do I apply for the T-shirt?

James Joyce. But just ask who's ever read it and you'll definitely get no answer. LOL! Are you up for a challenge? Do you want to check it out that you need the author's name?

James Joyce, but a better question is: Has anybody read it in its entirety and/or claimed to comprehend it! :)
