I've got to do a 10 minute presentation about the punk group 'Buzzcocks' album cover called, 'a different kind of tension', which was designed by Malcolm Garrett. How would I talk about the cover.

The Buzzcocks are cool. I'd think the cover design would be some way related to the content of the CD, so I'd find connections between the style of the music, and the style of the cover. Or even the content.

I don't have the CD, so I can't help you with that, but asthetically, the first thing I noticed about it was how geometrically simple it is. It sticks to the basics- circles, triangles, etc. Also, the colors are really bright- especially the yellow- which is kind of unusual for a punk CD. They tend to be into darker colors- black backgrounds and black and white photos. Except Never Mind The Bollocks, which is pink and green... Anyway, basically, the cover made me think of modern art and Scandinavian design (think IKEA).
