Peter Kaye for sure - but been northern I would say that cause he has our humour and our ways down to a tee - brilliant - I love him - when he was on Parkinson last week he was aces - talked about fireworks at home with dads - he cracks me up evertime such a skill to be able to take what goes on in normal life and turn it into humour - love watching the audience as well at his shows - how they always point at eachopther cause it reminds them of something!!

Peter Kaye will not be even remembered a few years from now!
There's nothing unique about him!

peter kaye is very funny both as a stand up comic and a comic actor, but he cannot surpass the pure genius of beloved spike milligan. different class

You can't compare. Spike has been a known name for far longer. People remember him with more affection even though Peter Kay is well loved because of the passage of time. Anyway, does it matter who's better? They're both funny.

I kinda think it depends on what generation you were born into! I personally love both, but Spike can be a bit hard to get sometimes if you don't understand 'older' humour.
They each deserve a place in the comedy hall of fame for each of their generations.

i like spike, i think their too vastly different to really compare spike is old school intelliegent yet silly humour, peter kay is a modern comedian he bridges a gap ironically between chavs and the non chavs in that they both find him funny yet the chavs don't sense the irony!

spike a genious. peter hilarious.. they are from 2 different worlds of comedy.. you cant say one is funnier than the other
