i LOVE my parents!they are the light of my soul!

When I was younger and living with my parents (Dad and step mom) I didn't understand why they would tell me no, or do the things they did. I seriously thought they were the worst parents ever! I moved out 4 years ago, and since then, I've gained more of an appreciation for my parents. I learned that everything they were doing for me was to protect me and for my benefit. I do not hate my parents! If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be who I am today :) Now I'm pregnant with my first child, and I only hope I can be as good as a parent as them!

Loved mine, they're both dead.
Why would anyone give thumbs down to people who answered honestly that they do hate them? How can you know what they think/feel? Not everyone had as great of parents as you or I did. Ever thought about abuse or neglect or some other harsh realities that some endure?

I never could say I hated my parents. I might have hated some of the stuff they did or some of the stuff they made me do or the fact that there was some stuff they wouldn't let me do. I think over all I had terrific parents who guided me well and loved me no matter what!

I love my parents. They did the best that they could to raise my brothers and I the right way.

no DEFINATELY not me...i love my parents...even though we fight or argue..we're still gonna stick together and help each other survive
i think anybody who says yes on here isnt really looking deep down because really, u dont hate ur parents...its just something that will not happen

I don't hate my parents, although I strongly disagree with their actions and judgements at times. Hate is strong word for me though.

well everybody say they hate their parents at least once in their lifetime, but the truth is they always regret saying it cuz they dont really mean it everyone has to love their parents!
