I'm on 228,000 miles on my 94 Camaro. I have had absolutely no problems with it. It has been a dream come true. I do maintain it by changing oil every 7500 miles (not 3000 like the oil companies want you to.) I have only had to replace the clutch and the other standard stuff like tires, brakes, battery.
It's a crap shoot for you. Sometimes you will find a great car, sometimes not. Consider repair costs along the way and compare that what you would pay for a new car. Check out underneath, make sure there isn't a lot of rust. Look at the pedals, make sure they aren't worn down a lot. Look at the front tires for odd wear. Some of these things will show you how the car has been driven.

"Moderately maintained" is a relative term. Also unknown is the type of driving done. City driving is hard on a car. Highway driving doesn't wear the car out as fast. A race car is designed to croak (needing a complete rebuild) after one 500 mile race. Some very relaible cars are worn out after 40K miles with good maintenance. An example here is a farm pickup because they are driven very short distances day in and day out, loaded up and on rough roads. Some cars last 400K miles with good maintenance. Typically these are long-distance, highway cars.

You have no idea the magnatude of your question. It depends on what's been done to it for the first 116,000 miles; exactly how it's been maintained, how many other people drive it, how you drive it; there's just no way with the info supplied to give a useful, coherent and accurate answer to that.

Like others have said, depends on the driver and how you drive it. If you keep it running good ,get the oil changed regularly, and maintain it properly, you should be good for another 100,000 miles.

It really depends on how well it's been maintained, etc. My dad has cars with over 200k on them that run great (VW, Subaru), but my husband had a Saturn that died at under 100k and we though it had been well maintained.
I've put over 50k on my 93 Corolla in under 4 years and have had no problems with it.

Depends on the model and maintenance done. If you are thinking of buying a used vehicle try to stay away from ones with more the 100,000.00
