why do most christians hate homosexuals?...even if it is a sin doesn't say that god forgives all sins as long as you believe in christ and asked for forgiveness? dont we all sin in one way or another?

Thank you. Finally someone who has the same opinion as I. I don't think that Christians should be so judgemental. Some of the most high and mightiest people I know, even though they aren't that way they just think they are, are Christians.
I believe that we can love God etc still even though we are gay. As bette said in the l word - i am your own creation. God damn he made mother nature homosexual so why not us as well.
We do all sin in one way or another. There cannot be any one person out there that says they haven't. Just the littlest thing like swearing is a big no no.

Most Christians don't hate homosexuals. You have to remember that all you see in the news and through other media venues are the extremists. To show the average Christian wouldn't be news.
Or if you're saying this becuase of a personal experience that you've had, then I'm sorry for that but you can't make the sweeping generalizations that all Christians hate homosexuals.

A christian who hates a homosexual on that basis alone goes in the face of all that they claim to believe. "christianity" along with many other forms of organized religion, is and had always been a front for social agendas and political groups. The idea that they hate homosexuals is a way to exploit a deep psychological pathosis involving fear of what is different. and they figure that if they can get all of those fearful people in a big big group, then they have a mechanism to garner power and control (i.e. the Southern Baptist Convention.)
If they were paying attention, they would also notice that the bible says women who are on the rag cannot cook their meals, for it is "unclean"
they would also notice the stipulation that women should cover their heads and not speak in church. its in there, folks.

That's what I say. The bible condemns homosexuality. I guess they think that gays who don't try to stop are continuing to sin. Therefore remain bad people.
But I'm not religious myself; so this is only a guess on my part.

Its not that they hate it they just don't understand their own god and want go to heaven when god created all this, so if god created this it cant be all that bad or hated.

You are wrong Christians do not HATE gays...we speak out against their lifestyle anyone who hates anyone is truly not a Christian. But most gays do not believe that their lifestyle is wrong so wouldn't asking for forgiveness contradict everything they say?
