One year for x-mas maybe when i was about 10 and my sister was 8, she gave me a piggy bank for x-mas. But it wasnt any piggy bank. It was my piggy bank. She had stolen it from me a week or two earlier to be mean and gave me my own bank for xmas. I guess she felt guilty.
And at least she left the change in it.

A lime green turtle neck sweater.
It wasn't horrible except it was lime green and turtle neck which if you like turtle neck then fine or if you like lime green then good but i hate both so yeah it was terrible.
I tried to make the sweater work i cut the turtle neck part off but that ruined the sweater.
Also I got a big square shaped black purse with a huge smilie face on the side. This was back in the days when those huge black squared purses were in style which would of been fine but whats up with the smilie face.
yes, both of these gifts were from the same person.

The worst gift I ever got for my b day was 2 little cowboy hats that were like one inch wide.

I had a bf once. We had dated for almost a year and this would be our first Christmas together. I took great pains to select perfect gifts just for him and he commented on how no one had ever known him so well or taken so much time & effort to pick such great gifts. I was thrilled.
He got me an orange skull cap and a bicycle for Christmas!
I broke up with him the following February.

he's a jerk. tell him which you're feeling such as you're actually not nicely worth his time. The anniversary component... nicely i'm hoping you probably did no longer consult with him for no less than a week after that debacle because has have been given to be the main ridiculous component I actual have ever heard, it is not even like he forgot! In general, I would say anytime someone gets me socks. Especially the plain white kind. How boring of a gift is that? The cute ones with bright colors and sayings are okay, but still. I don't think socks are a very creative gift idea.

I don't consider any gift to be bad even if I hate it because I think of the thought that goes behind it and that's all that counts and it gives the gift a lot of value. :)

My bf (at the time) gave me a can of car paint for my birthday once. It was the 3rd birthday we'd been together and that was the first time he bought me a gift....but he did paint my car for me with it. My mother likes to give me "grannie" panties. I've got quite a collection of them that I've never used and am saving to give her for Christmas some year when she forgets she ever gave them to me.

Got a brand new Dyson vacume cleaner for my birthday of the wife 4 years ago. I do most of the housework, we needed a new hoover, she thought it was a good idea. You can guess what I said.

A sock from grandma "A" sock.
