there is really no 'secret'. (sorry. i wish there was too!) just get a meteronome (this is mandatory for tremelo!!!!) start at a speed you can do, and do 16th notes, tremeloing 1stfinger 1stfret for 1 beat, then 2ndfinger 2ndfret, then 3rdfinger 3rd fret, then 4thfinger 4thfret. do this on each string (eBGDAE) and then backwards (starting on 4thfret) back down (EADGBe). do this without pauses, then pick the speed up. good luck

Find a plectrum you are comfortable with. I would use a medium thick, as I find thin to flexible for tremolo picking. Hold it closer to the tip than you normally do. I find this gives me better control. Then follow Conie's advice above.

Keep up the practice, and don't get discouraged if you don't get it straight away.

Rock on!

a stable thank you to prepare tremolo choosing or any quickly choosing greater often than no longer is to take classical songs and repeat types usually increasing in velocity. Rondo alla turka works properly for understanding the two hands. issues like that help with velocity interior the choosing hand alongside with coordination on the neck.
