the songs (files) may be in the wrong format for your itunes program

the file might be a "protected" file

for more information on your itunes - click the Help button at the top - then click - itunes and music store help (a window will pop up) in there you will see the following tabs - Contents - Index - Search - Favourites
click on - index - and check around in there for more info

I don't have a clue other than some sort of conflict, but this often works for some problems.

Unplug the mouse from the PC.

Shut down the PC

Reboot the PC without the mouse attached

Shut down the PC

Attach the mouse

Reboot the PC

This simply helps the PC to recognize the mouse under all circumstances and may preclude any conflicts you are having with your hardware/drives.

Hope this helps.

Have you used a liquid/spray to clean it? A poor sensitive mouse doesn't especially like to be cleaned like this, so perhaps a little liquid got into its internal workings.

Best buy a new one.

update the drivers on your cd rom drive. Also, if you are running windows, make sure you do all of the microsoft updates, they sometime will patch software.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
