Ouch!!! you should try and wait at least 6 weeks minimum before resuming sex your body has been through allot give it a well earned rest. I had a baby 8 months ago and i have only just started having sex lately.

Yes it is. I just gave birth 3 months ago and I start and stop all the time. Just take it slow with the sex. It can take 6 months to a year for your body to get back to normal after having a baby.
Congrats on the new baby!

Well most midwives would not recommend having sex only 3 weeks after giving birth - aside from your hormones being all over the place/you being tired and done in.. your body is still trying to recover and heal..

My well being care expert instructed me this would take place for months after giving beginning. while you're breast feeding frequently you will no longer have your "era" for a pair months a minimum of, yet once you're something like me... I have been given mine 5 weeks after my son became born. i became instructed by utilising my well being care expert to observe the bleeding and if it relatively is going to become heavy (like filling up a heavy pad in the hour) or clumps larger then a golf ball are popping out to pass to ER suitable away... it relatively is a hemorrhage, yet different then that standard after stuff! stable success and congrats on the newborn!!!

Are you breast feeding? My doctors cautioned me that with breast feeding I would bleed longer after the birth and I bled for 6 weeks on and off and they were not concerned. But to be safe you should call your ob gyn and ask if you should be concerned.

Yes as your bits are still adjusting back to pre pregnancy size. My mother always warned me not to have sex too early as your hormones are not back to a normal balance and you can become pregnant quite easily again. try and wait a few more weeks and it will defiantly be better for you.

It's not normal to have sex three weeks after giving birth - ouch! You might want to see your midwife to check there is no infection.

yes perfectly thats y it isnt recommended that you have sex for six weeks after birth as your body is still recovering,so to speak, and you could easily get an infection.(and i didnt mean that as in an std btw lol)
