I live in Urbana_Champaign and i need to get to Chicago this weekend. The trip is round. Can somebody tell me the cheapest way to get there... The bus turned to be 60 dollars. It is a little too expensive. There are two people who want to go: me and my friend. Does somebody know good agencies?
Thanks a lot in advance!

There are only four ways to get to Chicago: drive, fly, bus or train. You could probably get a cheap flight, but you have to book early. Try checking the airline websites or places like Priceline or Orbitz to see if they have flights to and from Champaign. But if $60 is too expensive for you, there won't be a lot of other options cheapter. Since you're near the college, check the U of I bulletin boards around campus to see if you can catch a ride with someone heading back to Chicago. They'll usually only charge you gas money ($20). Or post your own flyer asking someone if they're going to Chicago.

I'm guessing you are at the university. It is common for a university to have a ride board somewhere. See if you can get a ride that way. Also, ask around for someone going to Chicago. As far as commercial transportation, the bus at $60 is pretty good.
