I just polished my nails red and I like them!

I love red nail polish and I am pale. I think it depends on the skin tone and the length of the nails. I DO think that if your nails were as long as Dolly Parton's, and you WEREN'T Dolly Parton, then it would probably look kinda slutty.

Red is a nice classic color and looks really good if it is flawless. Being such a vibrant color, any scratch to the finish really sticks out. And considering I use my nails as tools all the time, I don't usually polish them any color. I usually keep a natural manicure with nothing on them, not even clear polish. But on occasion I'll go for color. And I've been known to choose red shades from time to time.

Red is great, if your pairing it w/ the right duds! It can look demure and sophisticated with a beautiful evening gown or something else more formal and can look fun if you have a pair of jeans on and a tshirt with stars all over it. Just depends, but if your slummin' or looking like you bought your clothes from that new ghetto shop up the way or maybe the 99 cent store, then I'd would say it's a big no-no.

I think red polish is acceptable around the holidays. I typically get a french manicure and pedicure - because it looks more professional and doesnt grab alot of attention. I do like colored polish, but I dont want to mess with it really, so I go french - because it goes with everything.

red is not a color every one can pull off with out looking sluty.. i think the longer the nail the darker the color.. but it is a pretty color on somepeople with short nails it depends on how you look and i suppose how you carry yourself.. my mom always favored red nails and lips on me it looks all wrong but on my daughter it looks great.. if you like them you know best

No, red nail polish is hot and sexy, I wear it all the time, especially dark red.

I dont think that someon should judge you because of your nail polish color? I don't think red polish makes you look slutty! No color of nail polish makes oyu look slutty!

doesn't look slutty, my hands are just too pale and i don't like the way it looks on me. I wouldn't suggest going red with really long nails though.

I think it looks good on occasion... with the right outfit, hairstyle, etc. I am particuarly fond of red polish on my toes.
