Can I upgrade my Latitude D600 (pentium m) to a dual core processor?

I dont really know a lot about this stuff, trying to learn. want to upgrade for my pro tools rig.

not unless you upgrade your motherboard. They use different sockets

You can't. The dual core processors use a different socket type than the D600 has. You will have to get another laptop.

Most likely not, with out buying a new laptop. Call Dell and speak with a sales advisor. They can look up the information for you.
