What special does the 3rd time have that's so different than the 1st time? If she leaves him, she just leaves him. He's entitled to know if she's leaving him.

Not knowing your situation I suggest that you not only tell him you are leaving being that would be the honest thing to do I suggest you leave for good as he does not need to constantly face the pain and hurt of you leaving. Sounds like you personally do not know what you want so please stop placing that pain on him

Depends on what a jerk he is. If he is nice, but you just don't love him anymore, then yes, he deserves to be told.

But if he's a total bastard and treats you like crap and neglects you and takes you for granted, beats you, etc, etc, then just bail out of there and leave a note that says "that was your last chance. I'm outta here, a**hole. You'll be hearing from my lawyer."

Cook him a good meal, leave the keys under the mat, and make a dash,
you'll only be back to brake up again. stop the games and work it out!

Depends...do you want to talk about your issues and see if you can make a last ditch effort? Or are you to the point of no return. Only you can answer this question. If you want him to know why you left but don't want to talk about it try a Dear John letter.

I'm sure he knows you'll leave him the fourth, fifth, and sixth time, so, no, you shouldn't tell him. He'll figure it out.
