Hi,
Since you are still in high school and possibly have access to a school counselor, maybe set up an appointment to talk to him or her. Once the appointment is set, ask them about Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assessment.
The MBTI helps you understand your strengths and weaknesses and the type of work setting you would like based on your personality type.
If you do not have access to a school counselor, possibly research the MBTI on the internet and take an online assessment. I took the test my junior and senior years of high school and the results were very accurate and helped me to find my career path which I am still following today. Hope this helps :-)

In college major in sociology, psycology, education, philosophy, history, or biology. You can be a social worker, a psychologist, a doctor, a dentist, a scientist, a teacher, or a nurse. Also, if you didn't want to go to college you could be a massage therapist. Believe me, they help people by relieving stress and pain.

if you really don't know what you want to do then my suggestion is to pick a major that would make you very employable and will give you alot of options. The number one I can think of would be "buisness Managment" or Human Resourses. Getting a degree in buisness managment is so great I can't even begin to tell you how employable you will be. We are in a Service industry and managers make the money!

try becoming a special ed teacher. There is a major shortage in this country and you can also get government jobs in addition to working in schools. Also, once you have a BA you can join the peace corp.

Why not volunteer a few places and see what you enjoy?
You could be anything from nurse to teacher to social worker to therapist. You could give therapeutic riding sessions to handicapped kids. you could be an at-home nurse for elderly people. You could learn business administration and help to run a non-profit.

Depends where your interests and talents lie.
I'd be happy if you worked at my favorite store. I can't ever find someone there to help me when I need it.
You probably want something a little more lucrative, though.
