Unfortunately, at the moment we have a government that is more concerned with what it appears to be doing than what it actually is doing.
The whole world comes before any rational thought at the moment. The N.H.S., immigrants, the courts system, punishments by the courts, early release, cutting back on the armed forces, police cutbacks, extra road charges, more taxes....etc, etc, etc.
Screw human rights!.
What about my goddamed right to be able to walk the street at night(or indeed, daytime!) and feel safe?
The whole government has systematically screwed up this country from the moment they got in.
This latest one is just the tip of the iceberg.
Will the last sane Englishman in this country please turn out the lights!

It was the medical assessment lot, they were thinking more about the human rights aspect, than the actual medical condition which is virtually untreatable. They always say afterwards that they have identified the problems that resulted in this thing happening, and that they have taken the steps to rectify this from occurring again in the future. The sad thing is that they never learn, and things like this keep repeating themselves, with the terrible consequences that arise far to frequently. These people should be brought to book and named and shamed, then stripped of this responsibility, with a reduction in wages to suit their incompetence.

And it all boils down to 'Money', 'Cost', 'Taxes' etc, etc.
I remember them closing down the so-called Mental Institutions and allowing the inmates home. A good proportion of them didn't want to leave and another percentage had parents, loved ones who didn't want them back home. The Sanatoriums were the only places they felt secure and safe. But despite all the begging and admonitions that it wasn't going to work, we (the public) were reassured that they would be looked after by humongous amounts of care workers who would be constantly checking on them. It was an infringement of their human rights to keep them incarcerated! They were literally evicted and sent out to the world.
We are now reaping the rewards of that ridiculous decision.

Sadly, this is not the first time it has happened, I believe 3 inmates have gone on to do bad things. The government should have a review of what is going on at this place

staff are well and highly trained people working with the doctors and are limited by law,the restraining order, apprehending, the patients have rights.also they have access to kitchens within thier compounds, many would use the human rights act even if they are denied any privleges. and i am speaking from expierence of working with people with learning diffuclties.and nervous breakdowns, manic, depression, and even worse cases of severe mental health.i worked in this field of medicine for 20years and it was all roses in the garden, believe me.

A medical system that just does not seem to understand that schizophrenic people never really seem to get better.
If they get sued for millions of pounds or Euros, someone should take notice
