I know that I had a 1853 500cc twin and the Roadrocket was out in 1956 (I also had a Flash at one time) but U do not remember when/what year the first 650cc arrived on the scene,

Hmmmm...I had a 1953 not an 1853 BSA....I am not young but sure as heck not THAT old..neither is Beezer

1950 A10 Golden Flash was 1st 650

'62 & 63' they had both A10's and A65's

'63 was last A10's

I think it was around 1952, but from what you say that doesn't help much; you've probably surmised that much already.
