I grew up without computers until I was like 15. We had friends, would go out and do stuff and you know what there wasn't all these problems with laziness and childhood obesity back then. Which wasn't too long ago. Now you look outside and there are no kids running around playing with their friends, everyone is inside parked infront of the computer or tv, playing video games watxching some show or movie.

I remember life with no computers, and the only TV in the house was about 12 inches square and black and white. There were only 3 stations, and Dad ruled the TV (no remote in those days). If we wanted to know something, we went to the library to look it up in a book. Games were played outside, or sitting around the table with the family. Life was alot simpler, but I wouldn't trade today's technology to go back!

Maybe people would start reading those things called "books" again...or maybe just go outside and do stuff! We lost power last year and my kids were freaked out because they had reports for school that needed to be done (power was out for 4 days!). I pulled out the old portable manual typewriter and with the help of candles the reports got typed. It always bugs me when you are trying to get information from places and they tell you the "computer is down" so the information isn't available. In some ways the "old" ways were better. But ..... here I sit on the computer :)

Boring, ability to gain knowledge would become more limited due to the fact that reading books etc would slow the process and inhibit instant knowledge as we have it now.

Of course, we'd probably have a healthier population unless of course they became depressed due to lack of stimulation around them.

Tv I could forgo, computer...not so much. It is my creative outlet and my source of knowledge for many things. I don't think that I would be as inquisitive if I didn't have my computer and the net of course :)

It hasn't been that long ago. When I was little we had no TV. We listened to the radio. I remember my grandmother listening to her soaps. On Sundays we listened to Gunsmoke. We played cowboys and indians outside and inside played Sorry, Monopoly and whatever we could imagine. We didn't miss what we didn't have. I'd miss computers for sure, but we'd get used to it.

I would die too but if there were no TV or computers, we would spend more constructive time with our families and friends. We wouldn't be influenced by negative things. My house would be cleaner. Oh well, back to Pogo...lol...

It would almost be like the 1970's again (except TV just stunk) We could be all be in our tube tops listening to disco while roller skating. Far out!

Boring. None of these 2 items work without electricity. so imagine yourself in a blackout. Would you be able to survive? No.

It would be quiet & peaceful. *shiver* After a period of shock & mourning, we would eventually go back to being more creative & family oriented. We'd blow the dust off our library cards, maybe the movie theaters would fill back up again, and we would actually go outside to amuse ourselves. Oooh, exercise, what's that?!
