maybe they feel like they relate to that imaginary world and all those creative cartoon characters..they mite feel as if it sort of belongs to them the cartoons..kids know that an adult world is different they realise somehow..so they mite think that this is their world..and the truth is watching cartoons is fun and to top this all watching cartoons or TV is a huge past time...when kids get engaged into the tv they just seem to be captivated by the moving characters and respond to them as they would reply to them

Kids love cartoons because it's funny and colorful and the cartoon characters catch their attention.

I don't know that I'd presume that as there weren't any in the eighteenth century. We can say, in our day, with the information explosion and visual media being far more readily accessible, that most children are conditioned to it. I still remember my own first experiences with this so it gives me room for pause. They're bright and colorful, but in my day, we had no color TV unless you went to the movies. It's subjective, I think. As a kid, I really liked Popeye cartoons. They were in black and white. It was a combination of story, action, and imagination. Even older guys at the time who saw them often said; " Hey. I don't think they had kids in mind when they did this. "

Not only kids love cartoons;adults also like them.cartoons are colourful and bright and they are funny...cartoons are able to attract kids and grab their attention.

It feeds their creativity and stimulates thier imagination and most of all its totally crazy and funny to watch. People notice bright colors and most cartoons use the same colors regardless of the tint or shade which first gets your attention, and what they do after will either keep it or make you change the channell...lol

cause they are funny and enjoyable and entertaining. Cartoons today are not like they used to be. I like the old cartoons they were the best.

I don't know why our kids love cartoon. But they love it and they can spent the hole day for it :).
