I am applying for jobs working with people and some things in my past have come back to haunt me.They are minor offenses, however do not look good to my would be employers. It is so easy for someone to get all your dirt. I am a different person now and these traffic and other small violations were a LONG time ago, yet seem to be keeping me from getting the positions I want. Is there a way i can have these removed from my record or will this continue to hold me back forever?

The positions would include close personal care of people with disabilities and restrictions, although a business type employer may not care, it does cause concern on a personal level.

Er, speeding tickets and other minor violations typically fall off after 2-5 years, depending on what state you live in. years. If they haven't yet, you should probably consult with a traffic attorney and find out why they haven't. If I remember correctly, it's a fixed number of years after your last infraction that the record falls off. So, going by 2 years (which is how long they're held here from what I was told), if you get a ticket, then get another a year later, then another 6 months later, then another a year and a half later, all of them will show up until you go 2 years without violations. I could be wrong though, this was just my understanding.

As long as you have had a clean record for at least 5 years, your would-be employers shouldn't be holding simple misdemeanors against you. Traffic violations stay on your record for 10 years in most states. Talk to a Lawyer or go to the Courthouse Legal Aid Department & inquire about it there. :o)

you want to speak with an legal specialist. A fee ticket is a legal record. Like an different legal record you won't be able to upload something to it as quickly because that is been signed. He must have used yet another fee ticket to characteristic violations. opportunities are severe the officer might want to easily get a lecture from a manager or the choose. they received't do something to him so that is likely best to easily enable it flow. contained in the destiny watch your mouth.
