My hamster's chin got scratched a few days ago, the scratch is healed now, but there is a lump where it was. I think that it is infected, so I want to give him anibiotic. I don't have access to vet, please recommend me which antibiotic and how should I give it.

I can take my hamster to visit a vet. I have vet friends but they know nothing of hamsters.
Please advice me which antibiotic and how should I use, and please don't tell me to take it to visit a vet.

you will have to ask a vet. there are a million antibiotics and depending on how much your hampster weighs then that would be the dosage. good luck.

You should not give your hamster anything without first contacting a vet. There are some antibiotics that SHOULD NOT be used on pocket pets like hamsters. If the scratch has turned into a lump it could be an abcess, and that needs to be lanced by a professional. Keep the area clean until you find someone to help.

No do not give your hamster neosprin haha thats not good sometime it could be toxic to your hamster. give it protien for injeries thats what you are sopposed to do theres really nothing you can do exept that. try like yogurt, or bread soaked in milk. and if you do end up getting atibiotics from a vet just put them in your protien. good luck :)
