What do mean "actually?" That sounds very ignorant and prejudiced. And yes, I've lived with people of other races.....many people have....so what's your point?
One more thing - black and white are not the only colors or races in this world, so you probably shouldn't use the term "opposite color." That implies that there's only two.

What is the opposite color? I have people of various differnt shades of color in my family, Skin pigmentation. This sounds somewhat prejudice or just plain ignorant. God bless*

No, but I have put an ad in the paper looking for a roommate whose skin pigmentation was the exact opposite color of mine.

I had a roommate in college that was of another race, he was Jewish, I am Latin son there is not such a thing as an opposite colour for us, very decent man, and his taste in music was horrible, but we got alone very easy.

And I live with a girlfriend that happened to be white we didn’t got married but it was good while it lasted.

My best friend is an Asian and if very funny we have a lot of fun together, we go fishing for girls to clubs.

The only race that I seem to have a problem is black people I simply clash with the few I know.

They are so sensitive about race that sometimes they seem to be the racist.

One time one person was talking very loud in a theatre I politely ask him to keep quiet, he respond that I was a racist shutting up the black, I was shock; I would ask anyone of any race who was so rude to please keep quiet, I am not a racist, sometimes it appears that you cannot say anything to any of them without been accused of been a racist.

I don’t get alone with them.

Yes. Actually, I rented a spare room from an African-American family. As I observed their daily lives - their issues are no different than ours. I discovered most of them stick together because they're frowned upon if they associate with 'whites'. The family I stayed with - their neighbors began to ignore talking to them whenever they saw me. I found this experience quite educational.

Opposite color? What does that mean? I have lived with people of different ethnic groups and skin pigmentation than my own.

first of all I agree that opposite isn't the word your looking for...and yes, I'm a college freshman and my two suite-mates are black, and I came from a country school that didn't have one full african-american so I was a little worried it would be weird, but it's not at all and we all get a long fine :)

Yes, if you mean people of other colors ("opposite"?). Not really an issue.
