What message would Al-Qaeda, Iran, Syria and others get from Gen. Abizaid's testimony in general? Do they believe his assessment? Do they want his current plan to continue? Congress can always vote more money for the war if they want to, or restart the draft if there are not enough troops. What congress does next after hearing all the advice that is coming it what matters.

USA went to iraq for the oil only! Iraq had never to do with terrorism or 9/11, they went there saying there are nuclear weappons in iraq then United Nations investigation proved there weren't any and that there never has been! USA are killing their boys in exchange of oil profits! Just imagine that a mother loosing her child is ok since some guys in power are making money!

No number of troops will restore order in Iraq, the sectarian killing which began after the US. invasion cannot be stopped with troops.
The USA cannot sustain higher numbers of troops in Iraq, there simply isn't enough troops to do it, and i can';t see enough public support for a draft.
The only way to stop the killing of US. troops is to bring them home, George Bush has already stated that he wont do this, so the only course remaining is to make him, for democrats to cut off his war funding.
The only way to stop the Iraqi killing is to get them to sit down and resolve their issues peacefuly, they will of course demand their say in the future of Iraq, and an end to American "Supervision".
