Isopropyl alcohol dissolves candlewax. The tissues (they come individually sealed in little sachets) made for cleaning spectacles are impregnated with it, so clean the area with those. Test on a hidden area first, of course, to make sure it doesn't damage the finish on your floor, and remember that it's inflammable

Try rubbing the entire area with ice it will turn the wax white - then using a plastic putty or paint knife gently remove the wax. You could also try a heavy duty spot lifter like K2r or goof off to dissolve the wax - depending on the age and strength of your laminate this should be OK - if you are in doubt of the safety of a product call the floor manufacture for a list of product safe for this application. Good Luck!

Use a warm iron and blotting paper. Put the blotting paper on the wax, then run the iron(not too hot) over the blotting paper, and the wax will soak into the blotting paper.

It must be poor laminate flooring if it shattered. Rip it up and take it back.
