It's (b) homozygous recessive because a blond person with bornw eyes can marry a person with brown hair and brown eyes and they have all blond blue eyed children or all brown eyed brown hairded children, it depends on the genes from both parents. The most important thing to remember is that there are two sets of genes, mom and dad and which ever gene the parents give, the dominant one takes over. So all brown mouse was dominant over the white mouse's white genes.

Lets say that each of the mice parents have a recessive brown gene. You would end up with:

Mom Ww
Dad Ww

Big W being the white Gene and little w being the brown gene (or non white gene) you would get the square

W w
W= WW Ww
w= Ww ww <------

so you would have a 3 to 1 chance of having a white offspring. so there is a one in four chance that you would have a new brown baby mouse as well.

The white mouse has recessive genes for brown hair color. The offspring have two pairs of brown genes and are expressing the brown coat.

its like dog breeding breed two reds or two blacks it really does not matter it all depends on the colors in past generations. you can get many colors. next time you may get all white, mixed or like this time.
