your neighbor just bough a new set of tires. He sets the old tires in the grass beside his driveway until his neighborhood trash collection day. Five days laterthe tires are removed on trash picup day as u arrive home u can see excaltly where the tires had been

A. what would u observe about the grass in order to tell where your neigbor had left his tires

B. why would the grass have apppered as it did? Explain in terms of the processes of phtosynthesis

A. You would observe - a discoloration of the affected area. However, the grass would still have grown.

B. This is known as Etiolated growth. Which is when the plant continues to grow without color production due to the lack of photosynthesis.

Yellow grass. Because the grass wasnt getting any water.

Dead grass. Grass with tires over it will get no light, and hence cannot photosynthesize.
