Hi, I found myself in this situation before, An ex partner actually gave me chlymidia but was too worried to tell me for about 3 months I had no symptoms then all of a sudden I was crippled in pain and taken to hospital It turned out I had PID too, I was really worried about infertility as I was just 21 and doc have said left untreated it is possible but as I dealt with it as soon as symptoms started I would be ok. PID is dangerous so any bad pains in stomach get it checked they come part and parcel alot of the time. Hope this helps.

I work in an OBGYN clinic, and there are many women that come in, and have chlamydia, and are pregnant. I would call your doctor, and talk to them about these concerns. There is a chance that this could affect your fertility, but if left untreated there is a greater chance. It pretty much all depends on how long you went with this condition untreated. Best of luck to you, and try not to worry!

Well number one you need to get treated for the STD, number two you need to use protection. My understanding is that it leads to infertility if untreated. When you get on some meds for it, talk to the doctor. PRACTICE SAFE SEX!

Don't worry....chlamydia does not mean the end of the world as far as children go. You would have had to have it for 5+ years and it seems that you would have become symptomatic.

I am positive you will be fine. Babies and the human body are super resillient...I am sure you will have as many babies as you'd like.

Honey, even though this disease can cause infertility many ppl have had it and it ahs not affected their fertility. For example, driving in a car can kill you - would you not drive ever? For more info on infertility, visit www.newbabyjubilee.com
