Never wear jeans to an interview-even if it's just a job at a gas station. Always present yourself as professional. Our maintenance supervisor will not hire anyone dressed in jeans or who misspell maintenance on their application, even though it's a grease monkey job! Invest in some nice khakis and a polo. Good luck!

I just interviewed for a job there yesterday actually. They are rather laid back, however if you notice the people who are already employeed there do not wear jeans (this would be because they have a dress code). The general rule of what to wear to an interview is to pay attention to what people wear who already work for the company then go in at that level or take it up one notch. Therefore, definately do not go in jeans. Slacks would be best, and you can get a pair cheap at a thrift store. If you get hired you will need them anyway.

In reality, you should wear a pair of slacks and a jacket, but if the position is for a warehouse/ light industrial position, and you don't have slacks, wear the jeans, make sure they are clean, and a long sleeve dress shirt with a blazer, if you have it.
If the position is not warehouse related, then borrow a pair of pants from one of your friends.
Last case resort, if funding is low, borrow some cash, buy an outfit, then return it, or keep it and pay back the money with your first paycheck. Good luck!

Well... if all you have are jeans then yes i would wear jeans instead of going in just your underwear.
But if you have time go get a pair of khaki's - even if you don't get the Toys R Us job, you'll be looking for another one anyway and need them

No, you shouldn't wear jeans to an interview. Get nice slacks or wear a skirt (if you're a girl).

If you only have jeans than make sure they are clean and pressed. Wear a button up shirt or a polo. Do not wear any jewelry. And style your hair in a professional manner. Nice and clean shaved. Smile and speak with a clear voice and proper grammar. Make lots of eye contact. Good luck

Either buy or borrow some nice clothes. You can always wear those clothes again in the future. Put your best foot forward when going on any job interview. Make yourself look like a person that somebody wants to hire. Wearing casual clothes makes it look like you just don't care.

would be worth the time and investment to go buy a pair of casual slacks---first thing the interviewer sees is you and your attire. If the position is for stock, and you won't be on the salesfloor for your work, clean pressed jeans will be okay if not worn out...good luck
