Many times I enter an item into 'Yahoo Search'
These item accumulate under search. How do I delete the items I no longer need?

It's not cookies, it's a search history.

How to clear a search history:

Click on the search box so the list of things you've searched for pops up (or under as the case may be).
Move your mouse over each word, hold down the [SHIFT] key and then the [Delete] key for each one.

The [shift] key is near the bottom corners of the main part of your keyboard. The [Delete] key is above the arrow keys, next to the main part of the keyboard.
