if your water breaks you need to get to the hospital dont wait for pains to start... usually after you lose the plug you do go into labor and i can understand being impatient but when its time it will happen.. some women have stomach cramps some have back pain its different with everyone but one thing for sure you will know its labor when it starts good luck and congrads

My dear you need to walk. Have someone take you somewhere close to the hospital and walk. That will help you. As for your mucous plug you need to call the doctor he may want you to come in. When I lost my plug I was admitted. Of course I lost it in between a stress test so I was already there. It is scary with the first one but you will be ok. Your water should break soon. Maybe the dr. will have to break if for you but I gave birth almost 24 hours after I lost my plug. As for what to look for. Contractions. WHen they come 5 min apart but call you dr. and tell him you lost your plug.

if you want to start labor tonight, try nipple stimulation. Tug, tweak, pinch them for 10 minutes, the action will relase hormones thet will help to kick start labor. If you are at 4 already you will soon be a mother! You will know you are in labor when the contractions get regular and more painful.

Call your doctor and get to the hospital. If you've lost your mucus plug it probably won't be long before your water breaks and then if you don't go into active labor there are greater chances for infection and complications.

It rather varies from lady to lady. some women human beings can stay dilated 3+ cm for some weeks. My sister in regulation only had a toddler boy 2 weeks in the past- she became a million cm and75 % and went into hard artwork 3 days later...it rather relies upon.
