A girl buying an engraved ring with both her name & her hubbies name on it, as opposed to him buying it for her?
its not an engagement ring or anniversary ring or anything like that, its just a regular ring, with each others birthstone.

No I don't think it is wrong, I think it is nice that she cares so much about their relationship she wants to wear something special to show it off. Now if the issue is she doesn't feel he gives her enough attention or appreciation then that is another story. And I don't think any woman should ever have to buy her own wedding, engagement or anniversary ring but buying yourself jewelry is always nice.

I don't think that it is wrong. I think it's a beautiful idea. I bought myself a ring with my six grandchildrens birthstones and each of their
names engraved on it. I plan to wear and enjoy it for many years to come.

No, that's not wrong. If he buys it for you, he loves you, and he wants you to have the ring. Well, I think it's sweet that you're doing that. I wanted to do something like that with mine and my husband's birthstones on it.

When my hubby proposed to me, I got him an engagement ring even before he bought mine. That was 11 years ago.
