Past - It's a four-way tie between Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson & the very underrated Bernard King. All four of these players affected the league in very great ways, as they all expanded the boundaries of the game. Larry was the great shooter, MJ was the highflyer that made everyone want to wear Jordans and fly, Magic created magic on the hardwood with his showtime passing, and BK was a great player, as he was the most versatile player I've ever seen. It's hard to decide...
Present - My favorite player is LeBron James. He's revolutionizing the league right now, and trust me, we are all witnesses...

When I first got into basketball, it was Elvin Hayes ("The Big E"). Was majorly stoked he won it all in '78. After he retired, I was a Reggie Theus fan since he went to UNLV. After he retired, I got into Larry Johnson, another Runnin' Rebel. Now, I don't really have a favorite player though I follow Kirk Snyder (Nevada) and Adam Morrison (The new Great White Hope).

Past-Magic Johnson. He showed a world that was afraid of AIDS at the time that having the disease is not the end of your life.
Present-Lebron James. I love watching him play because he is always looking to past first, not just to put up 50.

Reggie, Reggie, Reggie, Miller time. The best clutch plyaer in the NBA. Just ask the knicks. Now its Nash, the guy is so selfless.

Past- MJ, c'mon. Nobody better. Of course I am from the Chicago area.
Present - I don't know. NBA has really declined in the past five or six years I think. Maybe a D-Wade. He has great skills, team and individual, plus he is fairly humble.
