B. His music from before they were famous already reflected his inner pain. He was never successfully treated for his depression. Self-medicating eventually killed him. Man what a waste.

I think his parents divorce affected him pretty badly but when he went in to the music industry he didnt want all the attention he got. a lot of people were/are drawn to him because of the whole misunderstood troubled guy thing but he made brilliant music so I think its kind of a mix between A and B
