I have a really gd friend who means a lot to me and we have a lot of fun but lately shes been really touchy and gets offended easily. The other day i wasnt availiable to go out with her cos id already promised my parents that i would do something with them and she got really annoyed and offended. Its beggining to interfere with various things as well,as at college i no if i say im going to go to the library to do some work in my free's she will get upset, i hate seeing her like this but i cant live my life according to what she wants. do u think im being unreasonable cos i dont no why's shes being like this,anyone got any ideas?

You are not being unreasonable. It sounds like she is just vying for your attention. Maybe try to give her at least one whole day out of the week completely devoted to her. And make sure and lavish her with attention. Good Luck!

Since both your lives are changing, she may feel as if there's been a shift in your friendship and that you're drifting away from her. Since you're good friends, do your best to have a talk with her and find out what's going on. Maybe she misses the way your friendship was.

look she is jealous for some reason did you hang out with her everday and just all of a sudden stopped or has this been the way it is
if she loves you like a best friend she would never act like this she is being selfish

Maybe she thinks you're not hanging out with her enough. Or she might have something she has to tell you.
