I have brown eyes and I think when it comes to makeup, it is the most versatile eye color! Its common nowadays for eyeshadows to come in packs designated for eye colors. Brown eyes often consists of browns,tans,and plums. These color all look great with eyes, but I think that these are not the only colors brown eyed girls can use. Ulta mineral shadows, Body shop, and MAC shadows are my favorite brands to use. Blues,Greens,Purples,Golds etc. are really great at lightening and opening up your eyes. I also like smokey eyes. I use Mac "Carbon" and a silvery pewter shade when I'm going out on the town. It really makes brown eyes look sexy. Using gold in the inner and outer corners of your eyes also brightens and widens your eyes. Really, I think you can use all the colors I mentioned above, but please please please avoid pinks, hot pinks, and magentas because to me it just makes brown eyes look puffy and irritated. Almost like you've had a skin reaction. It just looks weird! I hope this helps.
Another eyeshadow tip: Throw away your sponge applicators. They're unsanitary and they waste your shadows. That goes for powders/compacts/foundations as well. Sponges are grody and they suck up all of your makeup! Concealer and Foundation brushes are the way to go!

The best eye shadow for brown eyes are light colors! You can wear any color you choice as long as its light, like tan, light browns, light pink, & baby blue. But my favortie is shrimmy eye shadows it looks like it have glitter in it that' s the best kind to buy for brown eye cuz it brings out your eye A LOT MORE!

The best to use believe it or not a navy blue or a dark a dark matte green. Avoid frosty colors and always work color into crease then blend. Its a change from the neutral colors we brown eyed girls tend to use and feel safe with. =) Hope you try it.

The best shadows for brown eyes are:purple,lilac,soft-brown and purple eye liner.Those colors will bright up your eyes.

WE ARE THE LUCKY ONES B/C I THINK THERES NOT A COLOR WE CANT WEAR. I THINK THE BEST IS A BROWN OR GREEN AND I HAVE A REALLY DARK ALMOST NAVY BLUE THAT looks good to makes for some bedroom eyes.i go for my earthy tones but dont stop there. your face is your palete.now dont go looking like mimi from drew carey but have fun. try all and if you dont like it wash it off.

I prefer neutrals, but you have to take into consideration your skin tone rather tan your eye color. Are you warm or cool tone? Many cosmetic companies package their products for warm or cool tones.
