Abortion is a very personal decision, only a good thing or a bad thing to the woman in that situation. I believe that since the woman has to carry the unborn child it's entirely her decision.

That being said, I also believe that there's a time limit to this decision. I have no problem with women using "the morning after" pill (as long as it's not used as a form of contraception!!) Or dealing with the situation within the first 8 weeks of pregnancy.

After that time window has passed, it's time to look at either having the child and raising it - or putting the child up for adoption once it's born.

One reason I think abortion is bad, yeah it could be a useless pieces of tissue and blood. But is that what your mom thought about you when she conceived you. I think its bad because why take away a life that you conceived, why can't you be a man or woman and take care of your responsibility. If you were raped, then I would suggest using the morning after pill. What if you get a quack doctor and he botches the procedure, it has been known to happen. Why don't you check out a site that has abortion procedures and see if you will change your mind..Also what if you want to have another baby later on down the line and you can't because of the procedure.

Bad!! You are taking a human life because you were too lazy to get up and use protection. And if you were raped you can always give up the baby for adoption. There are many women out there who want a baby and can't have one. I have been in the position where I had to make that decision. I put it in gods hands. And that's where it should be. Why should a child have to pay the price for someones mistake.!!!

Abortion is not good for anyone, it is murder of a conceived child. I think that, because the boy and girl have have made a bad decision to have sex outside of marriage, and now are going to make even a worse decision to abort this child. Two wrongs do not make a right! The boy is often in denial, and should except his responsibility, and the girl is often preplexed at this happeinig to her and knows not way to turn for help. bad - people think they can have unprotected sex.

I think that for cases like the above abortion should be legal and sound thing to do, but i PERSONALLY don't feel you should get an abortion because.. 'oops i forgot the condom'. I feel when a woman opens her legs, and a man decides to go there, they are taking the responsibility of any consequences of their actions.

Just my opinion. I know people that have had abortions simply because they didn't want the child.. i don't feel that's right but it's their choice not mine. Nothing religious or 'sacred life' opinions here just people needing to take responsibility for their actions.

I think abortion can go both ways. but for the most part i believe good because you should be able to make that decision. If it was a rape case then it definitly may be a good thing but if its just a women who doesnt want to have it because she thinks shes not ready or something than its kinda unfair but everyone has the right to make up their mind and they must know whats right for them.

Who are we as americans, people who have no stake in the issue to be able to tell a woman that she must have the child. Weather it be incestual, rape, or she just does not want to have a child. The right should belong to her. Not me, not you, and certainly not some useless politician!

I used to think that it is up to the women to decide. But now that I am an adult and am attempting to get pregnant. I am against it. My husband and I are having severe fertility problems. And I want a child so badly, and can't. There are so many people like me out there. And then there are so many that have no problem getting pregnant and then just get rid of it. It isn't fair. So this is why I am against it. If you don't want your baby, give it to someone who does.

It is bad I am against it, no matter how a pregnancy comes about, a baby is a great wonder in life and it deserves its chance just like all of us. If you don't want to ruin your body or be tied down use the right precautions. I could never love is love and it is unconditional.
