I'm doing the dishes right now. I turned it on and heard something like metal in it and saw that a fork's end is sticking out of the sink. Can I just take it out or will it electrify me? The button is not turned on or anything, I switched it off when I heard the sound. I'm from South Africa and we don't have these, that's why I want to be sure. Thanks in advance.

You can take it out. If you want, reach in with some tongs to get the fork.

If you're really worried about being electrocuted, many garbage disposals use a cord on a plug to get power, and you can just unplug it under the sink. Be sure to plug it in afterwards, though, or it won't work.

Make sure it is turned off and simply pull the fork out...turn it back on and make sure to hear nothing else...If you do...turn it back off and reach your hand down in there and pull anything else out. it should be fine at that point.

Often times a chihuahua may be upwards of 10 lbs. Sometimes even 12 to 14 lbs this is OK if the dog is not fat (with a gut). These bigger dogs are also generally healther than their smaller counterparts because of their bigger bodys and bones accomidate more space for the organs and teeth in the mouth are less crouded.
