The creative zen has better sound quality over the Ipod. However the Ipod is more stylish and easier to use.

I'm doing a series of reviews on the 6 major Digital Audio Players for this holiday season. I have a couple up already and will be posting the rest in the next few days, you can check them out here: http://www.myspace.com/soundonthego

Well I would suggest the ipod being that it is relatively easy to use but its not cheap. The best for the buck in my opinion is the portable CD player that also plays MP3's. You can burn about 500 or so songs on a regular CD and it costs about $30. You have the ones that are smaller and cheaper and hold about the same amount of information, however, they are more cumbersome and more difficult to program if your boyfriend is not very PC savvy.

SanDisk Sansa e250 is around $105. It can hold 500 songs depending on the length of each song. It has a nice sized vibrant screen. You can view videos and pictures. It also has an FM Tuner.
