depends on how old you are. if u r experienced, it is usually $12 an hour. but since u r also working nights, maybe $15 but its usually $12 for every situation unless u r younger in which u should be earning/charging about $9 - $10 an hour.
it also depends on what the parent/employer thinks is fair!!

It's been a long time since I babysat but, you have to charge depending on the child's age. If it's a baby, you should charge more. You'll have to change diapers and spoon feed them. Kids that are older and potty trained are you regular rate. I used to let the parents set the fee but, I'm sure I was taken advantage of. You should make at least minimum wage. Charge extra for each additional child. My friends pay ten dollars an hour to their babysitter at night.

Im in fl,have two kids(3 and 4) potty trained. My sitter is $10/hour but many actually charge $14/hour. Consider the job. Will you be changing diapers? Bottle or spoon feeding, cooking, ect.

If you are younger than 18, the best you can go is $7/hr. If you are 18 or older, you could go as high as $10 or $11 an hour.

It really depends on the age of the kid and the community. generally everyone charges $10 per hr. However, in rich community one would charge $15 per hr. general rule of thumb, the older the child the less money the younger the child the more money it is. Target the business people, (such as the Amway business people) they are much rewarding since they already make a ton of money.
