It used to be better, until all of the illegal basterds started coming in and the government gives them whatever they want, so come on over, the govt. will put you up and pay for everything. The people born here are the ones that have to bust thier asses everyday to make end meet

if i were you i would just stay there unless you have lots of money because you will have a terrible time being poor in America
I am American from birth and when i got out on my own i was 17 and pregnant you do not want to be broke here i can't stress that enough
Unless you know the system and are in the right place you are likely to starve or freeze because people will walk by you on the street and turn their head so that they don't have to lay eyes on your poverty
BUT if you have lots of money then come on over they will love you and treat you with respect even if you don't deserve it

That's the lie we like to believe.

If you are rich then it will be the rich experience

Poor the poor experience...get it.

The thing with the USA is that at a time when Europeans (i'm including the UK and Ireland) had to be born owning property it offered the opportunity to do it. Where you born into a social class and stayed there the US allowed you move from potatoe farmer to bank owner.

The US is what YOU make of it but it ain't easy!!!!!!

No really, you live in a beautiful country, a place I would love to retire and live someday. Not gonna happen requires money.
But anyway, with crime and taxes, a hugely ignored poverty problem and the frikkin influx already there seems to be no good answer for ya. Really everyone feels that way, "If only I lived there everything would be better. NOT. It's not where you live its how you live.

If you have any health problems, the USA probably isn't for you. We are the only first world country without nationalized health care - it's not uncommon for people to lose their homes and life savings because they had to pay medical bills. You'd probably be better in Canada, which is much more civilized and has a better safety net.

You are never going to get people to agree on one place in the world. But I will say I love America - I love being an American! I love my freedoms and my country! Anytime you want to come visit I live in St Louis and that is basically central America and we have direct flights form most international airports!

What everyone in the world should do is move to another country, like musical chairs. It seems like everyone thinks that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. It isn't. In the U.S. we do not take care of our people with medical problems unless they have lots of money.

You may want to consider testing your product, and what I mean by that is, you will want to visit America before you make such a move as to packing up and going.

Come here for a vacation see how you like it first.

with psyciatric issues, a move, wont change things. what are you looking for? freedom? that is a state of mind. im bipolar and a move has never changed my internal conflict. but, if your not happy with were you are, than move. it cant be any simpler. as for a diff. world. it is a capitalist country, everything revolves around money, it seems. as with any society, you are expected to conform.
