It has dawned on me after I have pottered on XBox live for a couple of weeks that I haven't heard any other female voices at all. Am I weird? Am i the only woman who likes games?

Yeah true, fair enough...never thought about the fact that they all might be being quiet. I can't keep my mouth shut for one second. Ha! I like my role playing games as well as Call of Duty stuff...I'll play anything

well, there's a difference between
girls who like games
girls who like *XBOX* games
girls who like the exact same games you like
girls who like the xbox games you like and are willing to speak up on voice chat
y'know? there are plenty of girls who play games but often in multiplayer girls keep quiet because they are sick of being hassled by stupid male players who are all "Wow a girl will you marry me?"
Also there are a lot more girls who play some kinds of games than others. i know a lot more girls who like Final Fantasy than I do girls who like Quake. there ARE girls who like quake but not as many, you know?

You are so not alone. I've been a huge gamer since back in the days of the Atari. Yes, it's sad and true. lol. I currently own an xbox, ps2, psp, nintendo and gamebox. So everyone in our family has something to play. Both my daughters are also heavily into gaming. My husband and I spend majority of our quality time playing games together and also with the kids. And I wish I could pick one system over the other as "the best", but in one form or another there are games on all the systems I just LOVE to play.

I love to play computer games as well....just don't have much time now with as many hours as I work and having a kid....The reason I didn't like playing Xbox live is all the immature boys saying stupid things to be about being a girl, not that I shouldn't be playing but hitting on me, sexual references, things that made playing not much fun. What I mostly love to play is SOFII Online. so much fun, and there are many female players.

Yes despite the pic I'm a girl. Wrestling fan thus the pic & I love PC & console games. However for me we do PS2 online, live or whatever you call it around here. Not an XBox fan.

Oh no, you're not the only female into computer games! I don't get to play as much as I like but I love them. I don't have a computer at home, only at work, so that limits the play time a lot.

I'm a girl and I've played video games since I was about four. I like all sorts of games, but am especially fond of role playing games, particularly Final Fantasy, and also platform/action games.
I do like FPS (First Person Shooter) games too, but I'm not very good at them... %-)

I don't have much of an attention span for normal games, but I seem to be able to spend hours playing Sims on my PC. It must be the control freak inside me where I can be in charge of other people's lives and they don't complain about it!!!

no your not the only one i dont havae x boox or anythign like that but i enjoy alot of the pc line games, that are alot like what you play, and i am always in search of the best game, for pc, some ive played and liked are flyff, albatross18, maple story, rubies of eventide, ragnarok, khan, conquer online, puzzle pirates, so check some out and see what you think.
