i am doing a project on the element Thulium (not so much a project as a simple presentation). but i really don't know how to present the information in a creative and informative way. some ppl are doing posters or pamphlets, but i want to do something different. anybody got any ideas?

Hmm. . its pretty rare stuff so you are not going to hand out samples
Since it was once used in lasers you could start your presentation with a laser light show, or just a simple laser pointer
Present the information chronologically, show how and why it was discovered (it started as a blank square on the Periodic Table of the Elelments) talk about it uses and why it was replaced

may sound silly, but could you "become Thulium" have some kind of costume and then speak about the element in first person?

or how about a fake newscast, wear a blazer sit behind a desk with your notes on paper as an anchor might have, and discuss the element as if it were the top story on the 6 o'clock news

umm... are you able to do slideshows or a powerpoint presentation? sorry, I don't have any great suggestions.
