Blah blah blah it's bad and it's stealing. If albums didn't cost £10 to begin with then nobody would need to download illegally. Downloaders may steal, but artist and record labels rob fans blind.

Anyway, the main problem is viruses. But also invalid files and files being listed as not what they are (i.e. you try to download The Departed and end up with porn).

If you want to download stuff then I suggest finding a good torrent site.

i've never got a virus from limewire but i've found it makes my computer really slow- there seems to be more choice on limewire than other p2p file sharing networks

it's illegal for a start - the musicians get no money from the sales of the songs, it's like pirated dvd's and cd's, only online. another thing that's wrong is the amount of computer viruses that you get when you download anything.

well as an artist myself we really depend on getting sells...and if people are sharing the music then we don't get paid.......most artists seem to have it all but when it's all said and done they need to pay off the costs of videos, living conditions, studio time etc...mainstream artists don't have it as good as the media makes it look most of that stuff is borrowed.

although it has a large database of songs, there are a few of which you cannot find on limewire, which is a downer in itself.

It's bad morally because you are actually stealing music that you haven't purchased. The rights to that music belongs to the artist and if your not getting it from them, then you're stealing.
