I have taken a job of managing consultancy for a hospital and I want to come up with my exact role and aim.?

Can someone please help me to write my role as a manging consultant and what i would be doing....this si what i have so far....As a Manager Consultant, my aim is to ensure the hospital is in a running and profitable condition and find ways to make it a better and enjoyable place for its employees and most importantly the visiting patients.

Having said that, I wish to offend no one when I come with problems that the hospital is facing but rather we should recognize these problems and try to eradicate the weaknesses that the hospital is facing with the above aim in mind.

All I can tell you to do is actually talk to the employees. What makes everything "easier" on the visiting patients can sometimes cause an enormous increase of stress in the employees. And stressed workers will always make patient care decline.

Present your ideas in a non-critical way to the staff, and ask them to imagine how the changes would impact them. If you get a majority of negative responses, you need to work on the idea some more. Learn how to listen, and actually CARE that the staff is happy.

I know "most importantly" your job is to make the patients happy, but trust me, happy staff = happy patients.
