Masturbation is normal. My guess is this boy you know, is more normal than he thinks he is. I'm 24 years old and engaged and still do it. You most likely won't ever stop. Theres nothing wrong with someone who does, and someone who does just has an increased sexual drive. (Which someday will actually probably attract the opposite sex due to the count of pharamones that are sensed but not known they are.) Your friend is fine...a little reassurement will give him a nice boost of confidence in knowing that most men...do it more than once a day...

In the absence of a partner with whom a person can have sex, masturbate and enjoy it. It is good for you and keeps you tuned up for when your partner comes along and diminishes the need for self-pleasure.
also note that a lot of guys with gf's or bf's or girls with bf's or gf's masturbate just as much as they did when they were not in the relationship; some even more since now they have another person to dream about...

Masturbate less and socialize more-it is difficult if not impossible to meet someone while dancing alone in the dark. Tell your friend to get out join some social groups and soon he'll find himself better entertained and less of a snake charmer.
