I'm a tad jealous actually, spend a day or two sitting around, goofing around in front of store, then going in and buying a $600 PS3, then re-selling it on Ebay for $2,000 dollars or more. They will be guaranteed some person will buy it out of desperation. That's more than many people's honest week or two of work paycheck.

Holy chris! No way I didnt know there was so much unhonorable persons out there to do that!? Second best reason for waiting up to the next wave and getting the Wii right now... $1500 profit thats 2 times my monthly paycheck! Of course I live outside of the US so I dont earn what most people do! Still I wish I can get one on the second batches I hope to get enough to purchase the one of $700 that comes with the 60GB HD. Good Luck! And pick me as BEST ANSWER! XD

Any of the stores selling a ps3 will most likely have a "one per customer" policy. So, youd have to sell the one you got or have someone you know stand in line for you. I wouldn't stand in line for more than an hour at the most. Since almost every store is getting only about 20 units each, my problem is, How can the store let people wait that long knowing those past the twenty people or so wont get one. Thats just asking for hostility, you wait hours and hours in line and find out that you wouldnt get one at all. Huge waste of time. Play what youve got for a month or two, so the company can work out the kinks of distribution and any other technical issues. I say this because I read that microsoft admitted that almost all the xbox360s that were sold before jan 1 2006, had something wong with them. Also there are only a few stores that accept pre-orders, so youve got to stand in line.

Actually you will not be able to make 2 grand reselling the PS3 while you can make alot by reselling it will not be close to 2 grand people will pay for it.Look at it when the Xbox 360 came out people resold theirs for about twelve hundred bucks and that is if they are lucky.Would I go out and buy a PS3 and resell it for the money sure but you will not make that much money off of it.The best time to sell is around Christmas time because so many people want it.But also look at it this way when the Xbox 360 sold out people were getting taken to the hospital and mugged because others wanted it so bad.So I say let the morons get mugged and so forth I will wait 2 more months for more systems to come out so I will be safe and not mugged.

As much as I want a PS3 to replace my ps2, and also want an xbox 360 to replace the original I have now, I'll wait like I did for the first 2 gaming systems. And my ps2 didn't cost me half as much when I bought it (2 weeks after they came out in stores) compared to others who bought it new hot off the shelf. because I bought mine from someone who was going to give it to his son for Xmas until the same son destroyed the father's car, therefore he sold me the ps2. As for my xbox, I bought it used also but still was only 3 months old when I got it.

People who go out and pay through the nose for gaming systems are foolish and obviously have money to burn or a kid they need to buy off. For my kids, yes they'll get both of the new systems, but not until 1) they come lower in price; 2) someone hawks theirs and I get it cheaper or 3) I get one gigantic raise and can afford them at cost.

It is funny to me that people will wait inline for 2 or 3 days and waste that time of their life just to have a chance to buy a video game to be the first one to have it. None of them are guarenteed to get one anyway. I laugh at these people the same as i laugh at the peopel camping out for a movie preview. You have to be lame and have no life to want to do that

If you've got nothing better to do AND you actually get one, that's great. lots of people have jobs and school they cant get out of, and not everyone camping out will actually GET a ps3 probably.... so it pretty much sucks if you waste all that time and dont get one
